The family of Nollywood veteran, JOHN OKAFOR , popularly called as Mr. Ibu, has raised alarm over the condition of his second leg after one of the legs was amputated few days ago.
His family had, two days ago announced that one of his legs had been amputated to save his life due to severe injury in spite of seven successful surgeries conducted on the leg and financial donations from Nigerians to ensure the leg was saved.
While announcing the state of his health, Mr. IBU’s family expressed concern over the condition of his other leg adding that the remaining leg is in a fragile state.
They appealed to Nigerians not to abandon the family as the veteran actor still requires all the assistance he can receive due to fragile condition of the second leg.
The family said the development has dealt them a huge blow and have come to accept the new reality to keep him alive.
Please we are still soliciting for support from well-meaning Nigerians as at this stage Daddy’s health is still very delicate as the other leg is in a fragile state and he needs all the help he can get,” the family disclosed.
